Moye Retreat Center
Moye Retreat Center is a prayerful,
welcoming and beautiful space which embodies the spirit of Divine Providence.
It is a place for people of all faiths who desire to deepen their relationship
with the God of Providence and to carry that spirit to others. We
Sisters of Divine Providence cherish Moye Center as our first Motherhouse in
Texas and hope that those who spend time in this hallowed place will experience
God’s Providential care for them in many ways.
Moye Center is located 13 miles West of San Antonio, off Hwy
90 west in Castroville.

Recently the Prince of Peace
Men's ACTS retreat was at Moye and a few of them wanted to share their
experience.

hearts to receive God's message of love, community and service. Being here
has been a life changing experience and you should be touched that you were a
part of this happening. The grounds, sleeping quarters and especially the

Mission Statement
Moye Retreat Center is a ministry of the Sisters of Divine Providence. Its mission is to provide a gathering place for women and men from many backgrounds and beliefs to pray, learn, share and reflect in order to be transformed by our Provident God and to carry that tender love of God to others in need of peace, justice, freedom and love.
Directions
From San Antonio, take US Hwy 90 west to Castroville. As you enter Castroville, watch your speed limit and proceed through four red lights and one yellow blinking light. One block past the yellow blinking light is London Street. As you turn right at London Street, you will enter the property gate. (If you pass McDonalds, you have gone too far.) Follow the signs to the office.
From Hondo, take US Hwy 90 east
to Castroville. As you enter Castroville, watch your speed limit and
proceed through one yellow blinking light and one red light. One
block past McDonalds is London Street. Turn left on London Street and left
into the property gate.

The Sisters of Divine Providence are a community
of women within the Catholic Church who dedicate their lives totally to
furthering the mission of Jesus. They minister to people in need, finding light
and strength in prayer. The particular charism which informs their mission is
confidence that God is provident — guiding, loving and caring for all creation.
