Accommodations
Moye Center is a 72 bed retreat facility in Castroville Texas.
Approximately 30 minutes from downtown San Antonio, Moye is the best kept secret in
retreats.
Because the center was originally the Mother House of the Sisters of Divine
Providence, we have unique accommodations.
Overnight Accommodations
Here is a look at some of our private rooms.
Our most unique feature are the dorms which have form 10 to 13 beds. These
allow for a community environment similar to that which the young sisters coming
to the convent first experienced as they got to know their new family.
These rooms are excellent for ACTS retreatants.
Meeting Rooms-
There are several types of meeting rooms and various
sizes.
Relaxed living room environment. (Conference rooms one and three)
More conducive to discussions and short lectures. (Capacity not more
than 25 with additional chairs.)
Conference Space for your specific set up.
Options abound in a variety of different styles with tables and
chairs. (Capacity not to exceed 75 with tables and chairs, or 150 with
chairs only.

Dining Room
The main dining area seats 60 with an addition 12 seats in the adjacent
porch area, with a total of 72 seats.

Moye Retreat Center is owned and subsidized by the Sisters of Divine Providence who are committed to making Moye an affordable place for groups to use, even though this pledge is a financial challenge for them. The Sisters of Divine Providence are now engaged in a fundraising effort for Moye, "Sharing Sacred Spaces Capital Campaign," to address five physical areas that need immediate attention.
The cost for these Capital Improvements is $300,000. We are asking for your help to raise this amount to preserve and improve Moye Retreat Center.
